Duke Group Ltd will be pleased to answer any questions concerning our site by filling
in the form at the link Contact us, advising you first read the FAQs here or below the section
Terms and Conditions, in order to get an immediate answer to your questions.

All bidders must be over 18 years old. It's illegal to sell tobacco products to minors
under 18 years. Any attempt to sell counterfeit boxes will be reported to the competent authorities and to Habanos SA.


How can I participate in auction?
Anyone wishing to join an auction must be registered as Active User.

When can I bid?
Bids can be made at any time of day, 24/24 and 7/7. We recommend that you update frequently your browser, especially when the auction’s going to end.

When do bids close?
Closing bids are determined on the bidding close date.

When can I select the option "Buy now"?
The option "Buy now" let you buy your item at once. You can select this option and stop the auction at any time, automatically becoming the winner.

How old the objects put up for auction should be?
Two years back for the Special Release and five years back for Standard Production.

Where are kept lots?
Each lot is kept at the seller.

How much the seller should pay?
The seller pays only on the lot awarded a commission equal to 12.5% of the final bid price (including VAT, if applied), plus a surcharge of 3.4%-total-for entitlements to be recovered
with credit card / debit card.

How much the buyer should pay?
The buyer pays only on the lot awarded a commission equal to 12.5% of the final bid price (including VAT if applied), plus an additional 3.4% of the total, to the rights of levying card credit / debit card.

I've won a lot, what are your next steps?
Winners are notified by email. After the payment of Committee to Habano Auction,
I will be put in touch with the seller for the balance of the transaction and establish
agreements for the transfer of the asset.

I sold a lot, what are the next steps?

What is the currency used for the auction?
Euros (EUR).
When a batch is considered "sold"?
The lot shall be considered sold when at the close of the auction there is at least an offer.
Won an auction is a binding contract between buyer and seller.

The lots have a "reserve price"?
The reserve price of a lot is equal to the starting price of the auction.

The shipping costs to those who are charged?
The shipping costs are charged to the buyer.

What are the sealed boxes?
When a lot contains words "sealed box" is awarded with the formula "seen and liked".
Many collectors prefer to include in their collections sealed boxes, but there is always
the possibility that the successful opening of the box you will find the cigars in poor condition. Please make sure before you bid, and ask questions to the seller about the state
of conservation of the box.

I received the box but the cigars are slightly smaller.
The cigars vintage can be slightly reduced over time both in length and in diameter.

Warnings type of medical / health care.
In some countries, lots awarded, regardless of age, must have health warnings
on both the front and rear of the box.

If the buyer does not pay the commission?
The commission must be paid within 96 hours after the end of the auction.
If the buyer does not pay any fees due to Habano Auction, Duke Group Ltd will cancel the sale and will award the lot to the next highest bidder.

If the seller does not pay the commission?
The commission must be paid within 96 hours after the buyer payment confirmation.
If the seller does not pay any fees due to Duke Habano Auction Group Ltd the auction
will be cancelled and the buyer will be reimbursed by the amount paid excluding fees paid.

What are the consequences of a failure to pay?
Duke Group Ltd will pursue missed payments through the relevant legal channels.
The award of a lot is a binding contract between the seller and the buyer.
In the event of failure to pay the account of the buyer or the seller will be suspended
for 6 months and they will be reactivated only after paying their debt to Duke Group Ltd.
Non-payment provides a penalty equal to 40% of the amount not paid. In no circumstances we can apply on payment delays or postpone it.

NOTES
Duke Group Ltd will not be liable in the following cases:
  • malfunction of the online auction platform;
  • malfunction of payment platform;
  • outages caused by courier or mail;
  • preservation of cigars. The seller has the 'duty and obligation" to indicate the exact state
    of conservation of cigars;
  • fulfilling customs charges. The buyers have an obligation to inform themselves about
    the rules in force in their country and immediately notify it to Duke Group Ltd.
